What is your overall opinion of this product?
From reading the various reviews from many sources I figured this is a solid bass. I would say, it's got "good bones". It is good just as it comes, but will likely need a set up, and some minor fret work to improve especially the upper register, above the 12th fret. If you are a novice, that may not be of much concern, because that range is usually only used for an occasional chord, or in a solo. My bass took a bit of fret leveling to make it play correctly, but was well worth the money, because now the bass will stand shoulder to shoulder with the other excellent Jazz Vs out there. This is an amazing bass for the money.
