Fender has incorporated years of pro audio experience into the Passport System's unique design and powerful features. Proprietary elements like Vocal Input Priority circuitry that automatically lowers all other signals in the system when you speak into the microphone -- (this is particularly useful when you want to make an announcement over music being broadcast). Other features include One Touch EQ, an extremely powerful tone control circuit that takes the guesswork out of getting great sound quickly. Plus, each custom cabinet contains specially designed, full-range speakers positioned at critical angles to maximize projection and clarity without feedback.
Each system features flexible input and output connections, tone control on each channel, system tone control, effects send and returns, digital reverb, recording outputs and inputs (for CD, tape, video, DVD, or computer connections), speaker and microphone cables, and Fender's P-51 microphones. Both systems are compatible with the new Passport Wireless systems for the ultimate in flexibility and portability. The Passport's durable power supply delivers consistent power - in stereo - whether you are using the system with an AC or DC source, and the entire system is packaged into a unique, weather-resistant, portable case utilizing a patented latching system. The Passport Audio Systems deliver professional quality sound for the "rest of us".

| | | Subject: | Portability, clean sound and easy to set up and use right out of the box | | Quality:
| Physically, it seems pretty solid. I like the lightweight aspect of the design, but it may also be a durability drawback in the long run. I'm referring specifically to the speakers.
Design-wise, the head has a sleek design and appear responsive and accurate. | | Features:
| The best thing about this system is the portability. It really is a big suitcase. The speakers are light and easy to mount on the stands (although I wish they were a little tighter fitting.
I would like to see the Phantom sound feature - as I had to add my own phantom box in order to use my Shure SM86 Condenser mic
I could live without the two fender mics - which are okay for public speaking - but marginal for performance. I would rather have a bag for two free stands, and a cover the PA. I bought both of these items for around $50. | | Ease of Use:
| Controls are clearly marked and easy to use - instruction manual is straightforward and for the most part unnecessary due to the clear design of the controls. | | Sound:
| The sound is crisp - we've gotten compliments using it for acoustic guitar performances with vocals. And I've tried a Boss DS-1 distortion pedal with an electric guitar. I thought it sounded fine.
Vocals are very clean through our Audix OM-2 mic. Guitars and vocals sound great through our Shure SM-57 mic.
Feedback resistance is okay, but it's not quite as feedback resistant as it's touted to be in the Fender advertising. | | Value:
| Based on comparisons, I would say this product is realistically priced. It's not a bargain - and it's not overpriced. | | Do you own this product?:

| The PD250? NO. The P250? YES! What I blame the problem to is the deluxe model has less speakers than the p250. Probably even cheaper speakers than the P250 | | Features:
| I would turn it back into a P250. I've owned them both. I sold my P250 and upgraded (yeah right) To the PD250,. Bad idea. My first system (P250)Had it for over 4 years, would run it full blast for hours, never any problems, always crystal clear. | | Ease of Use:
| Just mix. But don't turn it up to high, gets distorted or will blow away its circuit, speaker protectors. in which case you'll have to open it up (voiding your warranty)and soldering it back together again. Or wrap it up, lug it around (50+ lbs)to the post office and pay to send it to sam ash cause fender wont fix it for ya. ( and that's WITH warranty ) So sam ash is going to charge you shipping cost. Now.. How do you get fender to refund you back your money for sending their faulty warrantied product to sam ash and back? ( which came to about $250.00 R/T )You don't. Cause by then your so darn tired of being given the runaround that you just say " Oh well, I'm just paying what the system actually cost" and you leave at that. | | Sound:

| | | Subject: | Easy to Use, GREAT for Small venues | | Quality:
| For an inexpensive PA system, it seems to be well made. It is what it is. It's a small, portable, easy to use PA system. It's not a system for bands larger than 4 pieces, or for performing larger venues. | | Features:
| 6 channels, (4 XLR microphone inputs, 2 stereo inputs) Very portable and easy to use. | | Ease of Use:
| Very simple and easy to use. This is a great system for solo and acoustic performers, small bands, and for jam sessions. It's perfect for smaller venues. | | Sound:
| For a smaller system, I thought that this system sounded very good. We used a Passport PD250 for an acoustic gig; 2 microphones and 2 guitars. The guitars and vocals sounded clear and crisp. | | Value:
| It's hard to find a full PA system for this price. Seems to be well made. Afterall, it's a Fender | | Do you own this product?:
| No, but I've used this system many times performing with a friend | | Date submitted:

| Tinny and cheap-sounding | | Value:
| This is a really neat package, and is SO easy to pack, transport, set up, and use. Having previously used the Yamaha StagePass 300, I was VERY disappointed in the sound quality. I have it, and I'll use it, but next time I'll go back to the less user-friendly Yamaha. Next to the Yamaha, this one sounds CHEAP! | | Do you own this product?:

| In 3 hours of playing in a resturant setting with 75 - 100 people talking and eating the owner never touched a button and all I heard, (no static, feed-back, etc.) was good sound. I was invited to sing as a guest singer and really liked it from that side also. | | Ease of Use:
| Very easy. I only "blew" the mike a couple of times before I got the distance right. Got a great response to my singing! | | Sound:
