Quality
Would you consider this product to be made well? How dependable?
This guitar has the cleanest inlay work and interior I have ever seen. I figure lasers were used in some of the construction, but it is superb. I have only owned this guitar for 7 weeks, but based on what I know I would expect this guitar to be very dependable. The Fishman tuner is terrific, as I often use alternate tunings.

Reliability
How has it stood up over time?
Only had it 7 weeks, but so far so good.
|
Overall
Your general opinion of this product.
This is a fine guitar. Beautiful flame maple all over, and it is HIGHLY figured. The inlay work is also very finely done. NO decals on this baby.
|
Playability and Feel
How does it feel, Heavy, Fast, Chunky? How was the neck? Are the controls easy to get to while playing?
Very comfortable to play, whether standing or seated. The neck is perfect for my hands, and fairly fast for an acoustic. Action was perfect right out of the box. The controls are on the upper bout right in your face, but I haven't played it plugged in yet.
|
Tone
Bright and snappy? Dark and smooth? Were the pickups hot, mellow, thick, thin?
The tone surprised me. Being all maple I thought it would be bright, but the tone is quite mellow, closer to a mahogany body with spruce top. I will say it is very balanced, and all of the notes from bass to mid to treble are well articulated and it does not get muddy when strumed.
|
Finish
How did the stain or paint job look?
The finish was perfect right out of the box. Nice and glossy and smooth. This guitar is a visual knock-out. Eye candy for sure.
|
Action
How was the action out of the box?
For me, the action was perfect. No intonation problems. Everything is right up and down the neck.
