| HUGE Bass With Big Sound |
| Quality |
| Would you consider this product to be made well? How dependable? |
| Solid construction. Standard typical Fender Construction. Very Good |
|
| Features |
| What do you consider to be the best features of this product? What features would you add to this product if you could? |
| The Solid spruce top, solid mohagany construction of the back and sides with the dreadnoughts x inner bracing and 60's thick (as opposed to the thinner 70's Jazz neck)make this HUGE acoustic MONSTER a big sounding Bass even B4 its plugged in.
I run through a little Acoustic AB50 Bass amp and I get twice the output as per my electric Basses through the same amp.
The Bass is just so mammoth (49.15 Inches long) and with a standard dreadnought body thickness....its a bit to wrestle around, and I don't care for the bronze strings it comes with (or any bronze strings) but I am well satisfied overall.
If you want an acoustic Bass that is just HUGE IN EVERY WAY then this is that axe.
Great overall value.
Not perfect, but damn good.
I would suggest a smaller Bass for a smaller or younger player, and my 1992 Custom Charvel Acoustic Fretless Thinner Body Bass will still be my Acoustic of Choice, but I like this Bass a lot and its HUGE, fun, Loud, and different and its a keeper. |

| General |
| Your general opinion of this product. |
| Overall a very well constructed Bass with good tone, and electronics, but rather unwieldy. BIG SOUND, and I love the 60's style Jazz neck...as that is what i'm close to use to (my main is a '73 Fender Jazz Custom Bass0...(a bit thinner neck). |

| Tone |
| Bright and snappy? Dark and smooth? Were the pickups hot, mellow, thick, thin? |
| I'M A SLAPPER and this Bass slaps fine (too scrapey with the bronze strings for my style though).
Flatwounds in order, for me.
Bright and BIG. |
|
| Finish |
| How did the stain or paint job look? |
| Superb finish. pickguard was a bit substandard though. my only real complaint. shame on you Fender ! more Quality Control needed from whoever makes the pickguard.
not contoured with precision, and light scratches. |
