Product Description

Comfortable body and great Fender quality at a great price! The Fender CN240SCE Thinline Classical Acoustic Electric Guitar has many of the same great specs and features as its predecessor, the CN-240SCE, but with a thinner body (2.5 inch-deep upper bout; 2.75 inch-deep lower bout), which makes it a perfect crossover instrument for electric players and beginners looking for a great classical guitar.

A solid cedar top and rosewood back and sides make up the body for a balanced tone with warmth and clarity. The soft cutaway allows easier access to the upper frets on the thin mahogany neck.

Fender CN240SCE Thinline Classical Guitar Features

  • Fishman Isys III pickup system with onboard active preamp and tuner
  • Body and neck binding for a great look
  • Dual Action Truss Rod
  • Wood Mosaic Rosette, Gold Headstock
  • 2.5 in. deep upper bout and 2.75 in. deep lower bout

Decent, fun to play nylon acoustic/electric thinline with great pickup
General
Your general opinion of this product.
Excellent, though it could be better if the back and sides were laminate and the tuners had been of better quality, but these are not big points. It doesn't project like a normal classical guitar but the sound is killer and it is a lot of fun to play through an amp, with a nice basic set of settings on the fishman.
