Fender Vintage Noiseless Tele Pickup Set

Sounding like a 60's Tele without the 60-cycle buzz, that's the Vintage "Noiseless" Tele pickup. Made with the same technology as the "Noiseless" Strat, but voiced for that traditional Tele tone. Special Alnico 5 magnets and enamel coated magnet wire along with Fenders "Noiseless" technology produce a unique vintage sound that is quiet. The neck pickup has a nickel-silver cover for added clarity while the bridge pickup was developed to produce the traditional "twang" you'd expect from a Telecaster. Each pickup sports a very stylish "Noiseless" logo. OEM on the American Deluxe Telecaster.

Outstanding quality, very well made, no blemishes, well protected in factory packaging. Simple installation instructions.

FEATURES:
Best feature is only feature - sound - vintage Tele twang, w/o the noise. I love it.

EASE OF USE:
Once you get it installed, it works just like the OEM Pickups did. They are well balanced between bridge and neck as long as you have the pick up distances from strings teh same on both pick ups. I was able to adjust it and get desired balance in less than five minutes after I finsihed installation.

VALUE:
I'd have paid list price for it, its that good. Best mod I've made to my 1996 American Telecaster.

SOUND:
Crystal clarity in all three positions. All the expected traditional Tele snap and bite from the bridge unit, nicely blanced neck tones, even when playing with full OD/Distortion. Very good individual note articulation playing power chords. Gives you more ov

EASE OF USE:
My kit did not have long enough threaded screws. These are deeper than standard single coils. I have to visit the hardware store to get the right screws. It does include extra rubber tubing to compensate for the extra depth.

VALUE:
At $99 for a pair of pickups of this this quality - you can't go wrong!

SOUND:
I think they sound great. They definitely give you the Tele sound plus I think they allow for additional tonal variations. No noise to me is worth and tone difference between these and vintage style pickups.
