The Fender American Vintage 62 Stratocaster Electric Guitar is recreated in such awesome detail it recalls the vibe of the original. Nitro-laquer vintage finish, hand detailed neck, a resonant alder body and aged alnico pickups are only the beginning of how much value and vibe you'll get when you own these incredible guitars.

The American Vintage 62 Stratocaster re-creates one of Fender's most famous designs. All original specs are detailed including neck and headstock shapes, body radii and contours, 12th fret dot positioning, and hand beveled pickup magnets.

Quality
Would you consider this product to be made well? How dependable?
Yes, I had one in 62 and this guitar is almost the same. The bride is a little different than my original which had the same bridge style adjusters as the Jazzmaster but the sound is virtually the same and so is the feel.
Reliability
How has it stood up over time?
If it holds up as well as my original it will outlast me.
General
Your general opinion of this product.
I bought it. Enough said
Playability and Feel
How does it feel, Heavy, Fast, Chunky? How was the neck? Are the controls easy to get to while playing?
Feels and plays like a dream. The guitar is one of the easiest instruments I have ever played. No you can't compare it with a Les Paul which I also own. It's a different animal completely but the neck is fast and the width is perfect for pretty much any style of playing.
Tone
Bright and snappy? Dark and smooth? Were the pickups hot, mellow, thick, thin?
You can get them all from this baby. I have played weddings with very conservative sounds, rock from the 50's and 60's as well as Country and Blues with no problem. This guitar is very versatile and will serve as your main axe if you can only pick one.I've even did some jazz tunes with it.
Finish
How did the stain or paint job look?
Perfect. It's beautiful.
Action
How was the action out of the box?
Action out of the box was good only needed very slight adjustment.
