Quality: Excellent quality instrument Sound: Excellent! Can't beat that vintage Telecaster sound! Reliability: It's hard to hurt a Telecaster but this thing is always in tune and ready to go. Overall: Very good quality and stays in tune! Got that great vintage Fender sound! Playability and Feel: I have a Strat also but this guitar just "fits" me. The neck and body are well balanced and all of the controls are out of the way for playing but right where you want them. Tone: Vintage pick-ups are bright to warm tones. These are wired as the original '52 models were. Finish: Perfect! No flaws anywhere. Action: Fast and very smooth. NO buzzing. Quality: This guitar will outlast all others, including the owner. Sound: Classic Telecaster spank. Reliability: Brad Paisley said it best. "It's hard to hurt a Telecaster. Afterall, it's just a baseball bat and a cutting board." Overall: I own 30 guitars. Each one of them is relevant. It's like lures in a tackle box. Each one does a specific job and performs in a different way. The Telecaster has changed very little over the years and the 52 started it all. This one is a keeper and when I need to reel in an audience that loves to boogie the 52 Tele is destined to get wet. Playability and Feel: The neck is fast and smooth. The body has some girth to it but feels very stable and comfortable. Tone: This guitar is comfortable in any Genre of music. Bruce Springsteen to Brad Paisley and everything in between. If I had to sell all of my guitars except for one the 52 Telecaster would be the keeper. Finish: It has a very nice dark stain. Very pleasing to look at. Action: The action was fine for me.
