Fender American Vintage 52 Telecaster Electric Guitar with Case

Fender American Vintage 52 Telecaster Electric Guitar with Case

The Fender ‘52 reissue Telecaster pays homage to Fender's original classic that revolutionized the electric guitar. Its efficiency of form and function has made the Telecaster one of the most played and heard instruments in musical history.

All original specs on the Fender 52 US Vintage Telecaster are detailed including neck shape, fingerboard radius, hardware, pickups and electronics.

The '52 Telecaster®, '57 Stratocaster® and '62 Stratocaster® are the cornerstones of Fender's electric guitar range. The introduction of the new American Vintage Series marks the return to original specs with smooth, rounded body radii, distinctive neck shapes, aged plastic parts, and pickups that replicate all the physical and tonal aspects of the originals.

Unless otherwise noted, American Vintage Models are made in U.S.A. and share the following features:

  • One-piece maple neck
  • Vintage hardware
  • Vintage pickups
  • Original detailing
  • Fender tweed case

Overall: OVERALL:
I don't know about the reissue but I had a real 52 blonde tele and it was the real thing. The pick-ups were perfectly wound. I had a clean kind of fat distortion that has been immpossible to duplicate. If this reissue is even close it's a buy at $2,000. Steve Hill/Guitarist-Songwriter for Simply Jane

QUALITY:
Yes this guitar is made very well, when I recieved it I did check it out all over good and did not find anything wrong, even the action was just the way I would have had it set up if it wasn't. I think they did a great job on making it. This guitar will last a very long time even under every night playing gigs and travling. Can't really find anything wrong with this guitar. You can't go wrong in buying this guitar, think anyone who would get it would be very happy with it.

SOUND:
Very impressive, I'm using the 65 reissue twin reverb and the guitar sonds perfect. Even playing it unplugged. The guitar sounds great and will make you want to play it more. First night when using it the first night on the gig I felt proud of it and got many compliments how good it sounded by the other guys in the band and the audience.

STYLE:
Country, Country Rock, Oldies 50's and 60's

"The best feature of AMS is its ability to offer customers the option of payments. Many of us cannot afford to outlay a chunk of cash for an item. And, AMS provides a payment option unlike a credit card that really is a godsend for musicians who are broke most of the time." Nov '08
