The two Samarium Cobalt Noiseless pickups (neck and middle) are wound extra hot for proper balanced with the humbucking pickup. The amazing S-1 switching system lets you switch instantly from humbucking to single coil tones - just tap the switch hidden in the crown of the master volume knob. Includes hardshell case.

QUALITY:
This guitar is made extremely well. The only issue I have is that the selector knob is a little loose, and comes off easily. However, not a major issue.
FEATURES:
I like the humbuckler in the bridge as well as the S1 switching. Nice sound options.
EASE OF USE:
Very easy. Nothing difficult about using this including the S1 switching.
VALUE:
I think the value was great considering other alternatives and prices. Excellent quality from a well known guitar manufacturing company at a competitive price.
SOUND:
Great sound. With humbuckler and S1 switching, many options to play various types of music.

American made Fenders...what more can a person say?
FEATURES:
I love humbuckers...but I replaced the Fender stock humbucker with a Seymour Duncan Pearly Gates. The things screams now! The neck feels hand rolled...it's so smooth! I love the maple necks!
EASE OF USE:
Extremely easy and versatile...you can play anything on these puppies! Keep the nut lubricated with graphite if you're a tremolo freak and the thing will stay in tune almost as perfect as a guitar with a locking nut!
VALUE:
Just over $1,000 for an American made Fender strat still seems like a steal to me!
SOUND:
You can't beat that versatile tone of the stratocaster...so many configurations and ways to use the pickups and controls.

Excellent quality control at Fender. My guitar arrived in perfect condition.

I love the Strat feel but like the humbucker for the good solid tone.
SOUND:
Great sound! Really hot pickups with the vintage Fender tone but with the DH1 humbucker it really rounds out my sound. Plus it is not heavy like a Les Paul.

QUALITY:
Solid and well built. Only thing made in China is the case. This instrument is well balanced so you don't have to worry about a top heavy headstock pulling the neck down while playing. Finely engineered.
FEATURES:
LSR nut and locking tuners. The humbucker is okay but with a bit of tone control I make it work. The Samarium Cobalt SCs are outstanding.
EASE OF USE:
Smooth neck, stays in tune. Fretting is smooth as is the rosewood neck.
VALUE:
Great value for an American made instrument. Forget the crap from Korea and Indonesia. Save your money and buy a real guitar. I think the price is right for the quality and features and, in many cases, outshines most of the boutique guitars I've owned in the past.
