Quality: Yes this is a quality product. I've had mine for over a year it been perfect. Sound: I really like its tone for the most part. Not every pickup setting is perfect but I think the Humbucker is really nice for hard rock and metal when combined with a distortion or overdrive. Lots of nice harmonics, it's pretty thick for a stock pickup. And it works well for clean stuff, too. I'm not impressed with the neck pickup by itself; however, when combined with the middle pickup it gives nice tones for clean or slightly overdriven tones. The middle pickup has been a pleasant surprise to me, clean, dirty, by itself, or in combination with the other pickups it is very useful. I'm not usually a middle pickup user, but this one has changed my mind. Many people feel that a Floyd Rose tremelo effects tone and sustain in a bad way on a guitar...not on this one. It sounds and sustains better (clean or effected)than all other new Strats I've played. Maybe this is just a happening guitar and I just got lucky, but don't write it off. Try one out. Reliability: So far it's been very reliable...it is a Stratocaster after all. Fender has been making them for 50+ years for a reason. Overall: This guitar is a great value at this price. To me it is comparable to guitars in the $1000-$1200 range. Playability and Feel: I was looking for an instrument with a little thicker neck and rounder fretboard than my Jackson and Ibanez that I had. And I wanted a 25-1/2 scale length instead of the 25" that I had on my Carvin. And I can't stand a full baseball bat sized neck either. This fit the bill nicely. The finish on the neck is satin which is another feature I like. Tone: As far as the tone goes, I discussed most of it above. It's really very good. For the way I need it to sound it's just right. Finish: Very good. Mine has a white body, paint still looks like new. Action: Very good. Arrived in tune and intonated properly. Only had to adjust bass side of the bridge up a little to remove a slight amount of fret buzz on the wound strings. Since it will accept a replacement Humbucker I will buy a black one and replace the pickgaurd with a black/white/black pickgaurd that I will buy from a parts company who's name begins with an H. Playability and Feel: a standard strat is very light-weight. It emmediately feels comfortable and easy to play. Tone: the tone is bright and "sophisticated" But mine will have a Seymour Duncan Dimebucker.
