The VG Strat is made very well and plays Very well the look and feel is just like a regular strat with two extra knobs though I've customized my own Fenders with locking tremelo systems that is the only thing I don't like about the strat exsessive use of regular tremlos knocks your guitar out of tune no matter what kind of guitar you play I would like to see fender put some locking tremlos and 24 fret necks on there strats maybe even a seven string haven't seen a Fender seven string don't think they have them but they might

QUALITY:
This is a high quality American Series Strat... it just feels wonderful and extremely easy to play. I consider this product to last a lifetime. The worst quality in my opinion would be that they used standard tuners instead of locking tuners.
FEATURES:
Not only is this guitar an American Series Strat with Alnico pickups, it is also a VG instrument with INCREADIBLE SOUND!! The modeled Strat is one with an ASH body, so it's slighty different from the normal Alder strat sound you get without using the VG system. I would have added locking tuners, plus the ability to model out of phase pickup wiring in the humbucking models.
EASE OF USE:
This is an extemely easy to use strat. I own a Variax 600, and you have to spend some time with the manual on that one. With this strat, it really is pick up and play. . . it's that intuitive. The manual was only helpful in that you find out that there are only 3 modeled sounds on the humbucking |
