A revised version of the former Super Strat, the Fender Deluxe Players Stratocaster with rosewood fingerboard has great playability. Upgraded with American-made Vintage Noiseless pickups, this guitar not only sounds great but with a 12-inch neck radius and medium jumbo frets it’s a workhorse of a guitar. And, don’t forget about the push button switch that gives the player seven different pickup combinations!

Great Value in a Fender Stratocaster!

How has it stood up over time?
After a setup with 11's and a tweak of the neck this Fender plays great. No other Mods needed. Pickups sound great in mine and the additional 2 pickup settings (neck & bridge and neck & bridge & middle) make this a very versatile working mans guitar. Just might have to purchase a second one in red....

Playability and Feel
How does it feel, Heavy, Fast, Chunky? How was the neck? Are the controls easy to get to while playing?
Very comfortable wide neck...easy chord playing as well as soloing. I usually don't care for Start guitars but this one plays great.
Tone
Bright and snappy? Dark and smooth? Were the pickups hot, mellow, thick, thin?
In this guitar the Fender noiseless sound great...lots of quack in the 2&4 positions and the neck pickup is just fat and full. Interesting tones with the push button also. Again very versatile.
Finish
How did the stain or paint job look?
Can't say enough about the finish on my Blue one...the Swamp Ash body just jumps out of the transparent blue.

How was the action out of the box?
Needed some adjustment as I put on 11's, added 2 more springs and needed a bit of neck adjustment also

How was the action out of the box?
The neck needed a lot of adjustment the truss rod was actully loose not a big issue easily fixed.My only issue with this guitar would be very sharp frets on the edges as most fender mexican guitars are plan to have a tech file them

It's a mexican strat I expected some minor issues and thats what i got

After some neck adjustment and lowering the strings about one quarter turn it plays very well,I also would recommend putting some good tens on it

The vintage noiseless pickups seem to be a good all around for a little of every thing probably not so much for a lot of leads as they are'nt real hot
