Fender Acoustasonic Junior DSP Acoustic Guitar Amplifier

The Fender Acoustasonic Jr DSP is an upgraded version of the world's most popular acoustic amp. The Acoustasonic Jr is a portable, well built, easy-to-use combo amp designed for natural electric-acoustic guitar sounds as well as vocals. New features include handcrafted onboard digital effects and an XLR line output (with level control & ground lift). Its two 40-watt power sections drive a pair of 8 inch low-frequency drivers and a tweeter. Separate Instrument and phantom-powered XLR Mic channels each contain individual EQ and Phase switches for feedback reduction, and FX. Fender's String Dynamics(TM) control tames harsh treble notes on the instrument channel, and Feedback Notch control removes most feedback problems. Fender tilt-back legs aim the sound where it's needed. Dimensions: 15.5 x 22.4 x 10.2 inches, 43 lbs.

With more than a year spent on research and development, the new Acoustasonic Jr DSP now features handcrafted Digital Signal Processing effects that combine the clarity of Fender’s Acoustasonic Series with the versatility on board digital features to offer musicians a complete palette of acoustic possibilities. New DSP effects include Reverb, Delay, Chorus, Vibratone, and more, all of which are specially designed and optimized for acoustic performers.

QUALITY:
The quality of this equipment is amazing. Everything is constructed to be sturdy for a long time. The worst quality would be that the knobs should be a little more recessed to avoid wear and tear.

FEATURES:
Best feature is the direct line out. The quality of the sound stayed the same as if I had miked the amp. The direct out level control is a real sensitive. I barely have to turn it up past 1 or 2 in order to get a good level in the PA system.

EASE OF USE:
It did not take me very long before I figured out how to get the best sound out of this equipment.

VALUE:
The value of this amp is awesome. Middle of the road price, but top end performance.

SOUND:
Once you set your EQ levels right, the sound comes just as clear as if I were just playing without amplification.

Country

Subject:Balanced line out
Overall: I have been practicing on this amp since the sales person at a music store in my hometown sent away for it when I told him the DSP upgrade was in. I am quite impressed with how it sounds. I have not been able to use the balance line out as I am just borrowing it at the store until I purchase one. I am wondering if any one has had the opprortunity to use it yet and could comment on the line out feature and how it works in practice and gigs. Overall this seems like a great amp for a two person combo. I could see it used as a monitor if the balance out functions well.

Subject:The Perfect All In One Performer Amp
Overall:

QUALITY:
This is a great amp with the true design and reputation of Fender

FEATURES:
The greatest feature about the amp is that a mic sounds as good as a PA when pluged into the Low Impedance XLR jack

EASE OF USE:
The amp has all different effects including a bright clear echo that sounds real not electronic

VALUE:
The amp may appear to be exspensove for it's size, but it has two channels that have seperate 40watt ratings in each, It also includes two woofers and a tweeter for brilliant sound on a acoustic guitar

SOUND:
The amp can be cranked up with very little speaker softness and a drum machine or sequencer works well without distortion in the instrument channel

QUALITY:
Best amp for the price that I've seen in a long time. It has stood up to hard use quite well.

FEATURES:
I have an older model, the one that only has chorus, reverb, and phase... but even that is quite nice, this one should obviously be even better. The chorus is great, reverb is acceptable, and phase adds just that little "extra" at light settings.

EASE OF USE:
Simple, straightforward, easy to use. I had a good sound within 10 minutes of playing around with it.

VALUE:
I recieved it as a gift, but if I hadn't, and knowing how it sounds now, I would defininitely buy one. I'm not sure I would pay any more though, would consider buying a head and putting together my own setup for higher prices.

SOUND:
Clean sound is awesome when using my Carvin bolt on the neck/middle pups, almost vintage. I know this is meant to be an acoustic guitar/vocal amp, but it sounds too sweet with that Carvin to not use
