Quality: Seems to be well made. Sound: This amp is capable of more colors than you think. For rockers, the trick is to use fairly hot, edgy humbuckers (Dimario Super D; GFS Crunchy PAT; you get the picture) and be willing to work the tone controls. If your drummer is used to sitting behind a loud combo, this will make their day. Mic it up, run the mic through a Behringer Ultragain preamp, and this baby is a gas to play. Yeah, it will grind! Reliability: We'll see--only had it 2 months, Overall: I read alot of reviews before I made my purchase. Never played through. Listened to some YouTube clips and thought it sounded serviceable. Turns out to be a very decent sounding amp. Does it do everything well? No--then again, you can pay 10-to-20 times that much and say the same thing. It is louder than you think. If you work with it, and use hot humbuckers with an edge, you can obtain a variety of rock tones. It is loud enough to be heard on stage.
