Fender Frontman II 25R Guitar Combo Amplifier

The Fender Frontman 25R is a 25-watt, open-back amp with a 10-inch Fender Special Design speaker, two selectable channels (Normal and Drive), and even built-in reverb!
Fender's Frontman Amp series just got a facelift, yet all the tone, reliability, and value of the line remain consistent. Their Blackface cosmetic treatment (skirted knobs, silver grille cloth) makes these amps look as good as they sound! Each amp includes a headphone jack and an auxiliary input allowing the user to play along with a CD, tape player, or drum machine. Details include 3-band EQ, and an external speaker jack. Dimensions: 15.5 x 17 x 8.25, 25 lbs.

Overall: This amp is so boring after a couple of months. Its only 25w and i want something such as a 120w amp. Buy this if your not going to play anywhere besides your closet. Otherwise its a good reliable amp but the features and the PRICE could be better.

Overall: I have own this amp for less then a week and iam in love with it. The quality is very good and it is very simple to use. I live in a dulplex house so putting the volume on two is loud. This little baby is one loud amp. I have always been a fender lover and this prove to me again that fender is #1, Also the reverb is wonderfull its sound great. This is one amp for all jammers!!!!

Subject:One of the best musical investments I've ever made
Overall: I just used the same "summary remark" regarding the Line 6 POD 2.0. Well, the same goes for the Fender Frontman 25R Combo. A best friend of mine purchased one of the blackface models back in '98-'99 and I fell in love with it the first time I heard it and/or played it. Do NOT be fooled by it's relatively modest size. This is the mouse that roars! And forget about how loud it will get; the actual TONE on this amp is wonderful. The same friend also has a Hot Rod Deluxe (gulp), which is a monster. In the tone department, the 25R hangs with its big brother easily. Plug a Line 6 POD 2.0 into the front end of a 25R and you will quickly find that you don't NEED a Hot Rod Deluxe to get heard! I just bought two 25R II's myself in just the last two weeks, based on my experience with them. The only feature that I wish it included was an actual line/direct out, vs running a line from the headphone jack (which defeats the speaker). Nothing that a Shure SM-57 won't fix! As with the POD, two th
