This J bass features an alder body, one-piece C-shaped maple neck, and a maple fingerboard with black binding and black rectangular position markers. 20 medium jumbo frets, chrome hardware, vintage-style tuning machines, a Badass Bass II bridge, and the two vintage Jazz Bass single-coil pickups make your sound crackle with life and bristle with energy. Quality: This is a well built bass. When I first got it the setup was horrible. The strings were about a half inch off the fretboard. We had to crank the truss rod about 1 1/4 turns and it just came to life
Features: Its a Jazz bass. Not a whole lot of features.
Sound: Oh yeah this is THE sound. Whether you want a low boom or a midrange punch this bass will cover it. It has the grind sound that I have been looking for.
Playability and Feel: The neck is wonderful.
Tone: It grinds
Finish: The paint is perfect. No blemishes that I have found
Action: Out of the box it was not good. It took about 30 minutes to tweak it. It came right into a great playing bass.

Quality: Japanese made has always been a step above the above average.
Features: Superlight, feels natural in your hands. Just feels right. Like I say, every guitar should come with a hard case. Geddy Lee is one of the most talented bass musicians.
Sound: You can get anything you want out of it, with a little help from your amp of course.
Playability and Feel: Very good. I like the weight. Neck is awesome, slim is in. Nice and easy.
Tone: Pick it with the knobs. You'll find it. Nice snap. Hot
Finish: Nice lite coat of finish. Fretboard is nice and slick, thicker lacquer. Nice to bend strings.
Action: Super action. No Buzzing. Exc Intonation. Feels more like a guitar than a bass.
