| Subject: | Unbelievable Quality at Amazing Price |
| Quality:
| A+++ |
| Sound:
| The tone is cutting in the bridge position with some Telescaster Twang, balanced in the mid position, and very "rhythm" sounding with a lower volume in the bridge position. The tone control is really useful and helps shape the tone for each postion to bring many different sounds. Sustain is excellent and the controls and switch seem to operate fine. |
| Reliability:
| Past Squires I have purchased have lasted a quarter century so far with no issues. If there are issues with these lower cost guitars, it usually relates to the pickup selector switch and pots which are all extremely inexpensive to clean or replace. |
| Overall:
| This is an excellent guitar for a price that is so low it's almost crazy. Fit and finish is excellent. Sound is very good when the pickup heights are set correctly (the guitar comes from China very poorly adjusted and setup). After spending an hour adjusting the truss rod, string saddle heights, intonation, and pickup heights, the guitar is a winner... a big winner that will probably last as long as any other Fender ever made. |
| Playability and Feel:
| Thin neck, nice fretwork, controls are great, plays very well with extremely low action and no fret buzzes after proper truss rod, saddle adjustment, and intonation. |
| Tone:
| Bridge-bright and cutting
Mid-balanced
Rhythm-Darker, fat, great for blues with a Champ turned on 11. |
| Finish:
| Finish on neck, body, and chrome is flawless. |
| Action:
| The guitar is beautiful. I mean flawless! However, I have played quite a few Squires from China lately, and the setup is lacking. But the price of the guitar is less than the price of a good setup. And a setup can be done in an hour...so it's no big deal. |

| Subject: | Good Value for the Money |
| Quality:
| The Hardware seems little cheap and will probably be replaced in the future but for under $200 they are fine. |
| Sound:
| Good but I don't claim to be an expert on tone. |
| Reliability:
| Haven't had it long but so far so good Sting broke 2nd time I played it but I was gonna replace them anyway |
| Overall:
| I looks great seems well constructed plays well so far the only minor negatives were the crappy setup and crappy strings but those were quick and easy to correct. Is it as good as a Fender Tele? don't know but it is hard for me to see where a MIM Tele is worth more than 2X the price |
| Playability and Feel:
| Good but again I have only played about 3 different guitars for any length of time but it is as good or better than them My guitar teacher played it and he seemed impressed. |
| Tone:
| Bright twangy just what you want from a tele |
| Finish:
| Very Good I am very satisfied |
| Action:
| The strings were uneven and set a little low for me |
