These are great guitars for modding.
Quality
Would you consider this product to be made well? How dependable?
The frets were nicely rolled with no edges sticking out and the neck and abody have a nice weight to them. The stock tuners keep this baby in tune quite well and the 2 point bridge with the block saddles, is a added plus.
Reliability
How has it stood up over time?
I got this over a month ago in a trade and it's held up pretty well.
Overall
Your general opinion of this product.
This is definately worth the price tag and is reccommended for either a beginner or somebody on a low budget.
Playability and Feel
How does it feel, Heavy, Fast, Chunky? How was the neck? Are the controls easy to get to while playing?
I like it.
Tone
Bright and snappy? Dark and smooth? Were the pickups hot, mellow, thick, thin?
The stock pups were crap which is why I did the pickup swap.
Finish
How did the stain or paint job look?
The Black finish is okay but, I took off the mirror pickguard and put in a Mint Green one along with the same color pup covers and switch & knob covers as well.
Action
How was the action out of the box?
The neck is pretty fast on this guitar. But, I did have to do a full setup and intonation check.
