Squier Vintage Modified Jazz Bass Electric Guitar

Squier Vintage Modified Jazz Bass Electric Guitar; Is funkify a word? It is now, baby!
Squier’s retro-inspired Vintage Modified Jazz Bass guitar as a handsome natural-finish bass featuring a soft maple body and one-piece maple neck with sharp-looking black binding and block inlays on the 20-fret maple fingerboard. That soulful sound emanates from a pair of single-coil Duncan Designed Jazz Bass pickups; other features include chrome hardware and machine heads, a three-ply pickguard and a four-saddle chrome bridge.

With a Squier bass, you can explore your limits and find your voice. In your hands, it will whisper your fears, speak your mind, scream your rage and sing your passions.

Squier instruments are all backed by Fender, so why buy a copy when you can afford the real thing?

Subject:Bass came delivered Damaged But AMS made it better !!
Quality: Well I received the Bass on 3/16/2006 then I took it out of the box one of the Machine Heads was missing(G). I found it in the bottom of the bag.. Needless to say I was mad Some Birthday Gift for myself. I called and WOW they were so NICE TINA was the best also Ericka and Brody. GREAT Cust Serv.. Sent me a UPS Lable and its on it way back... But Ive deceided to buy it local I dont want to change another damaged bass> But I would buy from AMS again
Features: I love the Block Inlays on the neck
Sound: Basic to me sounds like a Jazz Bass
Playability and Feel: Feels good HOWEVER... I think the neck could be a little thinner. I REALLY like the Squire Classic vibe 60s Jazz. The Neck is thinner has the Dark Lacquer.. Looks SHARP !
Tone: The sound isn't bad at all.. It doesn't sound like my Spector Bass But I believe it's the kind of wood that's used over all NICE
Finish: The Finish was pretty good..but I think that the neck should have had more lacquer.. like the older models ..
Action: could be a little lower..

squier-convert2008 from Huntsville, TX, USA
Subject:Funk Machine!
Quality: My new Squier Vintage Modified 70's Jazz Bass arrived from AMS and it is flawless! Not a nick or a scratch on the poly finish, and the solid maple body really shines through well. It came with an AWESOME padded Fender gig bag with about 6 separate zipper pocket for music, tuner, strap, picks, keys, cell phone... whatever! The axe is nice and heavy...just the way I like it! I guess about 12-14 lbs. Beautiful guitar for an absolute steal of a price!
Features: The 2 Duncan Jazz pickups are really cool. There's no switch-each p/u has its own volume control, which makes for pretty much infinite tone/sound combos
Sound: The tone can be varied, but I usually leave it pretty bright. It has excellent sustain, assumedly from the solid maple body
Playability and Feel: This is my 1st Fender neck and its thin and fast! Very easy to play. After playing my old bass with a really chunky neck, I feel like I'm cheating on this one!
Tone: Each Duncan Jazz p/u isolated by itself hums. No shocker there as they're passive single coil. Together they do not hum. I can get pretty bright tones and I'm not a fan of a SUPER "warm" sound on a bass, so I never go there. But I'm sure its possible...
Finish: Amazing. I love the black block inlays on the light maple neck. The solid maple body is almost telecaster "butterscotch"...really, really sweet
Action: Mine came set up well with medium-low action, no buzzing on any fret.
