Subject:Love the look
Quality: My guitar had a neck bolt drilled in on a bad angle and then the bolt broke off and was lodged in the heel of the neck, and another screw drilled in right next to it. it had 4 and 1/2 neck bolts and 4.5 holes in the neck pocket. Weird. The nut was filed down too far on the treble side. There was a mild gouge in the 3rd fret between the G and B strings. The low E intonated sharp despite the saddle being as far back as possible.
Reliability: After I fixed the nut everything was certainly playable. Never had anything break for the 4 years I owned it. Good reliability.
Overall: I think I got a dud. I know that the problems my guitar had are NOT the normal affair for Squier. It would be a great axe for the price if it weren't for some defects in my specific guitar. Throw some after-market electronics in it and you can have a very nice beginner to intermediate guitar.
Playability and Feel: Comfortable maple neck. Nice vintage-y tint to mine. fret ends weren't too sharp. The bridge not intonating on the low E was frustrating. The LP-style controls are awesome though.
Tone: Warm and thick tone. The chrome covered hot humbuckers were a tad too muddy for my taste. Tone is much darker than the 72 deluxe this guitar looks like.
Finish: Nice black finish. My neck was more tinted than the Squier photos. Nothing to complain about.
Action: Action was way too low on the treble side and the nut needed to be shimmed just a bit.

Quality: This tele felt right wheni opened it on christmas morning. The only prob is the pickup selector seems to like to come uscrewed sometimes and the cable jack needed to be tighened
Reliability: The finish was decent but i accidentaly put some nicks in it but the tone if great a the strings it comes with sound good too.
Overall: This tele was great for its price. i played a fender tele the only thing different was the fretts ere smother than these ones but thats it. It gives a great variety of tones from jus the two humbuckers that are great little monsters for distortion
Playability and Feel: This guitar felt a little on the heav side but it wasnt that bad. The neck was great just keep it clean though. the pick up switch is easy to reach on an up strum
Tone: The pickups are great they give bright tone and sound great with a tone of distortion
Finish: IT looked good until i put a nick in it
Action: I little high but nothin i couldnt handle

Overall: My first guitar was a Fender Telecaster delux with the Three Tex Mex pickups ''''sold it about 4 years ago ,,i have regreded it ever since ''now i am pleased with this one .
Playability and Feel: Light with the Fat neck all the controls are easy to get to - My othe Guitar is a Dot Epiphone and that is Big Guitar ''this is very Playable i could play this a lot longer .
Tone: The tone is still Fender evan with The Humbuckys it gives it more Gain i think so it is like the best of both worlds
Finish: I have alaways love the Mapel neck ''the only thing i would change is the pick Guard to a white one
Action: Just had to tune it up ''That's it right out of the box

Subject:For $225.00, You Could Do Worse.
Quality: When I got mine, the action was very high and the intonation was horrible. Also, the imput jack was very loose. It seems to me that this was assembled very quickly and just shoved in a box and off to where ever.Thank god Squier doesn't have their factory in Indonesia anymore.
Reliability: I had to do several things when I got this. First, I changed the bridge saddles to Graph-Techs, and then I did a complete intonation check on it along with a truss rod adjustment which completely tunrned this into a instrument that is now a joy to play. I also sanded off the Squier logo and put on a Fender waterslide decal after which I applied some clearcoat over it. Now it looks and sounds just like a Telecaster and stays in perfect tune.
Overall: After I did all the neccesary adjustments, it turned out to be one fine guitar that I will end up using for a long time along with my 2006 MIM Strat. I'm a Fender man through and through and won't play anything else.
Playability and Feel: Contrary to popular belief, the neck on mine did not have any issues as far as fret edges needing to be filed down or anything of that sort. The only thing it needed was a truss rod adjustment because it was too tight when I got it. Other than that, it's just fine. The action on this is superb and it stays in tune with no problems at all.
Tone: I had to do a pup adjustment because it seemed that I was getting way too much brightness at first,so I lowered them a bit and now it's okay. These pups pack a lot of punch especially when you're playing clean. for distortion, they pack quite a growl and are perfect for Heavy Metal or Hard Rock.
Finish: I'm not a fan of the color Black on Guitars so down the line I might just strip it and leave it with a Natural finish.
Action: The action out of the box was horrible. The settings were way too high off the neck. Once I did a complete set-up and changed everything to my liking, it was okay.
