Built to Clapton’s own exacting specifications and handmade in the United States, the Fender Eric Clapton EC Vibro Champ Guitar Combo Amplifier is a fascinating variation on the ’57 Champ designed. The EC Vibro Champ has a ’50s-era output tube bias tremolo, which produced a more throbbing pulse than later Fender tremolo circuits, and a switchable power attenuator which reduces speaker output.
Clapton recorded some of his biggest hits with a tweed Champ; a late 1950s practice amp and Fender classic prized by countless pros for its great low-output sound and easy-to-record performance. He still uses one today, and Fender has answered his call for a special model with several distinctive features by introducing the EC Vibro Champ. It’s a must for Clapton fans and guitarists who want the ultimate in low-power tube performance!

Fender EC Series Amps
In a historic collaboration, Fender introduces its first artist signature amplifiers, the EC Series amps bear the name of legendary guitarist Eric Clapton. Built to the exacting specifications of Clapton himself, the three amps, the EC Twinolux, EC Tremolux and EC Vibro-Champ, are fascinating variations on their original '50s-era ancestors, and are Fender’s answer to Eric’s call for special models with distinctive features.
In a historic career now in its sixth decade, Eric Clapton has long been known as one of the world's foremost exponents of classic Fender tweed amp tone, and the three amps bearing his imprint present the pinnacle of personally inspired amp tone for stage and studio alike. Each is a must for Clapton fans and guitarists who want the ultimate in tweed tube amp performance.

| Beautiful Sweet Fender Sound! Well worth the price tag! |
| Quality |
| Would you consider this product to be made well? How dependable? |
| The EC Vibro Champ is very well made. I own many amps of various quality, price doesn't always mean good quality. The EC Vibro champ quality was obvious right out of the box. Made to last for decades. The Solid Pine is light. This is a very well-constructed amp. |

| Reliability |
| How has it stood up over time? |
| I have only owned mine for a few days. I am sure it will age like wine. |

| Overall |
| Your general opinion of this product. |
| This amp is absolutely pro quality. I was hesitant to purchase because of the price tag. I was planning on not being impressed and returning it. =) I fell in love with this amp right out of the box. The build quality, the beautiful warm Fender tone. The tones you hear that come from this amp are very recognizable from your record collection. The tremolo is the best I have ever heard. I own a 65 Deluxe Reverb along with a Boss Tremolo. The EC Vibro Champ Tremolo pulses like I have never heard before. This amp has my creative juices flowing.
The best way to compare it is professional quality all the way. This amp sounds larger than it looks. Well worth the price tag! This is a very very powerfull special amp. I'm lucky to own one. |

| Playability and Feel |
| How does it feel, Heavy, Fast, Chunky? How was the neck? Are the controls easy to get to while playing? |
| Playing this amp is like sliding in to your favorite high end sports car! You get what you pay for and then some. This amp is larger than I expected in person based on picturs. Speaking of larger, the sound of this amp is much larger than it appears. |
|
| Tone |
| Bright and snappy? Dark and smooth? Were the pickups hot, mellow, thick, thin? |
| The beautiful warm tone on this amp is instantly reconizable straight out of your record collection. It's so pure, so warm and so sweet all in one. When you crank it's overdriven limit it breaks up beautiful. You will hear Stevie Ray Vaughn and of course Clapton in this amp.
You can get some great Twangy James Burton poppy country sounds. The tone from this amp will make you feel great about your playing! It sounds amazing. From crystal clear to twangy country, to dirty punk grunge. This is a tone machine! |

| Finish |
| How did the stain or paint job look? |
| The lacqured tweed is so nice. Made to age like wine. The leather handle adds a lot of class to this little mircale of an amp. Very beautiful amp! |
