About Fender
Founded in 1946, Fender Musical Instruments Corporation has been an American icon for over 50 years. In that time, Fender’s contribution to the evolving sound of contemporary music has been global and continuous. By introducing the first commercially viable solidbody electric guitar, the first electric bass and countless classic amplifiers, Fender musical instruments have left their mark on jazz, blues, country, rock and many other styles of popular music.

Today, Fender Musical Instruments Corporation continues to offer its timeless electric guitar designs such as the Telecaster and Stratocaster to players around the world, but the Fender family has grown to include several distinctive musical instrument brands, including Squier, Guild, and Benedetto. At the pinnacle of guitar artistry, FMIC’s Fender Custom Shop in Corona, California, and its Guild Custom Shop in Nashville, Tennessee, offer hand-crafted custom guitars built to suit the tastes of individual players. Since 1995, Guild Guitars has also been a part of FMIC, and the Guild line of American-made acoustic and archtop electric guitars includes Benedetto brand archtop jazz guitars, considered by many to be the finest jazz guitars being made today. FMIC also distributes the Manuel Rodriguez brand of fine Spanish-made classical guitars.

FMIC’s Squier line of guitars, basses, amps and pro audio gear, combined with its full line of Fender acoustic instruments, offer a wide range of fretted instruments for the value-conscious musician. Under the Fender brand, FMIC manufactures a full line of professional-grade guitar and bass amplifiers inspired by its long tradition of innovation. In pro audio, Fender manufactures a complete line of professional sound equipment under the Fender brand, including the innovative Passport portable sound system.

Subject:Nice first acoustic
Quality: The quality is what you want and would hope to get every time from a reputable mfg.
Sound: It sounds really great. Wow, maybe I should've gotten an acoustic first because I'm more sucessfull with it. I'm not used to acoustic but I'm not disappointed in the least .... I think it's really loud.
Reliability: I recieved it and the neck was a little bowed, but no big deal ... I loosened the strings and waited and thenadjusted the truss rod. It tuned really easily and it seems to hold the tune really well, but I've never had a guitar just go out of tune.
Overall: I've had the guitar a couple of weeks and I really like it. I think it sounds wonderfull and it has a rich sound quality that I have never experienced b4 with electric. I can't seem to find a flaw on it anywhere. The case is durable and quite nice. The case is included and the guitar fits perfectly as one would expect.
Playability and Feel: It plays well and it's quite light I think. The neck is real comfortable. I'm kind of a fatty so the guitar seems kinda big but it's just my gut.
Tone: I feel the guitar is quite bright but my inexperience might be the factor here. I guess I could go try 50 guitars at some store to make a comparison, but I don't have the time. I like the overall sound feature of this guitar.
Finish: The paint is flawless and just an eye grabber, if you like sunburst. I sure do. It's so nice.
Action: Once tuned I noticed that acoustic strings are tougher than electric. I had it easy with my electrics. I'm not unhappy , I'm just inexperienced.

Subject:Great Guitar
Quality: Yes, very.
Reliability: Had it a month. No complaints.
Overall: For value, I'd rather have a $3,000 Guild, but can't afford. So this Fender CD60 fits my budget and is very reliable. Stays in tune and sounds great!
Playability and Feel: Plays great. No problems so far.
Tone: Tone is fine. But I'd rather silk and steel strings than bronze.
Finish: Couldn't find a scratch or dent on it. Shines great!
Action: Fine. No problems. I waited for a guitar like this for a long time. Now I have one.
