Latigo, or saddle leather, as it is sometimes called, is the heaviest leather Franklin uses. This beautiful, robust leather softens over time and is extremely durable. For those of you with an extra-heavy archtop solid-body electric, or a bass made out of super dense exotic woods, Latigo is the preferred strap material. The added suede backing on this strap contributes to its softness and durability and the contrast stitching adds a tailored look.
