The Focusrite ISA828AD AD Converter card option embodies cutting-edge conversion technology, seated within Focusrite custom analogue circuitry.
The ISA eight channel 192kHz A-D converter is a marvel in comparison to every other converter out ther today. It is the first Analog-Digital converter to boast Burr-Brown Pro Audio Amplifiers and the flagship PCM4220 A-D converter cicuits. With cutting-edge conversion technology built within Focusrite custom analogue circuitry, this card delivers an unparalleled performance.
The card can be retrofitted to an ISA 828 (or 428) at any time and thanks to its convenient 25-pin D-Type connector, it will integrate seamlessly into a ProTools HD setup or other popular hard disk recorders and mixing desks.
Digital formats include an eight-channel single/dual wire AES/EBU and S/PDIF output and an eight-channel ADAT lightpipe (SMUX/SMUX2) output. Word clock i/o is provided via dedicated BNC connectors.
