Quality
Would you consider this product to be made well? How dependable?
I just installed this pick-up,but I have a Fishman bridge on my mandolin and I would say if this one is like that one they last forever.

General
Your general opinion of this product.
I have a Gibson B-4512 guitar that the pick up went south in it. I needed to get it replaced and initially bought a Barcus-berry under the saddle pick up. after installing the first one all I could get was lots of hum so i returned it for a replacement. The second one worked but the tone was lousy. I then bought the Fishman and installed it. I am totally impressed with the rich mellow tone it gives to my 12 string. My wife even commented on the beautiful tone, and if she likes it that is top notch because she very seldom comments on anything.

Playability and Feel
How does it feel, Heavy, Fast, Chunky? How was the neck? Are the controls easy to get to while playing?
|
|
Tone
Bright and snappy? Dark and smooth? Were the pickups hot, mellow, thick, thin?
Fabulous tone, I do a lot of finger picking for Southern Gospel songs and it's the cats meow.
