Worth the added cost. Might as well buy a quality case the first time.

I have no worries about loading this case at the bottom of the pile of gear. Solidly built to take the abuse of travel. The flat latches don't have the potential to snag on things like traditional latches do. Plush red interior gets compliments from many a passer-by.
Playability and Feel
How does it feel, Heavy, Fast, Chunky? How was the neck? Are the controls easy to get to while playing?
Latches operate much faster than traditional case latches.

Bright and snappy? Dark and smooth? Were the pickups hot, mellow, thick, thin?

How did the stain or paint job look?
Black with a few red accents. I suppose some people might think you're toting around a gun case.
