QUALITY: Particleboard, rat fur and metal corner brackets. if you need to modify the case, be careful. Otherwise it should hold up well enough.
FEATURES: "Rear Access" doesn't necessarily mean that you will be able to access the rear of the mixer you install on top. There is a door for the lower rack, but I had to modify my case to fit my Yamaha mixer. Now it's even more stable with a 1x6 maple board.
EASE OF USE: Lift and carry... what more do you need? It's a bit heavy at 45 lbs, but it gets the job done. Mounting gear proved a little more difficult than expected, as the holes aren't perfectly aligned. But I was able to get everything loaded.
VALUE: Considering the fact that I was looking for a case I wouldn't have to modify, specifically looking for 'rear access,' it didnt' meet my value expectations because I had to pull out a saw and a screwdriver and modify the sucker. But if you are a DJ or your mixer has top | |

QUALITY: Poor quality construction. Made of particle board, very heavy. two screws that held the upper rails were laying inside. the top front latch was bent to fit the lower mating half. Will stiffen up with equipment mounted but I can wiggle the case. Cheesy velcro holds front and back covers in place. No rubber feet on the bottom. No T-nuts used to secure handles. No acces to back of mixer. Better leave 2 spaces blank and use 8 of 10 spaces on top.
FEATURES: Handles and hinges are rugged. The rest of the hardware is flimsy. Came with extra rack screws but no nylon washers.
EASE OF USE: Easy to use, heavy to lift.
VALUE: You get what you pay for. |
