| I have total dependence on this product and I am not worried about it's quality at all. Not a thing has gone wrong so far and I've had it about a month and gigged with it weekly. Everything feels great and sturdy, all the jacks feel very high quality, and the ultra-bright LEDs make this easily seen in very low or very high lighting (outdoor) situations. There is no question about this amp and it's quality. If you want 1200 watts of power in a sturdy dependable package, get this. | | Features:
| The features of this amp are incredible: two individual switchable/mixable preamps (one tube, one solid state) each with their own 4-band EQ (each with two semi-parametric midrange controls), a low frequency boost (up to +15db), a variable mid scoop, and a high frequency "attack" booster (up to +15db), and on top of all of this, a footswitch to control all of these! A mute switch is available on the face of the amp that allows for silent tuning, as well. Now for the back: fully featured DI with switchable mic/line level, a tuner-out (for silent tuning), a 1/4" headphone out, a 1/4" auxilary in, the jack for the included footswitch and a jack for a standard 1/4" footswitch for muting with your feet. And now the best part: three independent effects loops, which means one for the tube channel, one for the solid state channel, and one for the master, meaning that you could mix both channels and have a gritty tube channel and a chorused solid state channel running at the same time! So m | | Sound:
| The tone is whatever you want it to be. Completely moldable and allows you to find your own tone, not just the one that Ampeg or Fender gives you. Your possibilities are endless with this amplifier. | | Playability and Feel:
| It's sooooo musical. Smooth and nice feel. Feels slightly toyish due to the weight, but let me tell you, it's anything but that. Did I mention that it's under 7 lbs? | | Tone:
| It's slightly hi-fi, but you can easily get that Fender Bassman mushy and fatty bass tone with this. Anything from scooped R&B fingerstyle to midrangey Musicman bite. Heck, you could even set the tone of the tube channel to give you that smooth fingerstyle tone and set the solid state channel to get that midrangey bite and then just footswitch between them! Did I mention you can get all of this for under 7 lbs? | | Finish:
| It looks sleek as heck, there wasn't a scratch and everything looked top-notch: clear labeling, high quality metal finish, and a very good looking chrome face. Looks awesome on stage. | | Action:
| I'm not quite sure what action is on an amp. | | Date submitted:
