| Rock solid guitar with amazing flexibility |
| Quality |
| Would you consider this product to be made well? How dependable? |
| Very well made. It IS a Gibson, after all! |
|
| Reliability |
| How has it stood up over time? |
| Bought mine in '06. I play it almost every day and have had no issues with it to date. |
|
| Overall |
| Your general opinion of this product. |
| Real classy guitar. Mine has gold hardware, which blends nicely with with the Tri Burst. I'm considering adding a gold Bigsby with a gold rolling bridge. |
|
| Playability and Feel |
| How does it feel, Heavy, Fast, Chunky? How was the neck? Are the controls easy to get to while playing? |
| It is a joy to hold and it quickly became an extention of myself. You don't want to put it down. This guitar is perhaps not quite as heavy as one might expect from a semi-hollow. |
|
| Tone |
| Bright and snappy? Dark and smooth? Were the pickups hot, mellow, thick, thin? |
| Like I said, between the neck and bridge humbuckers and the very accessable tone and volume pots, coupled with the rotary switch, the guitar has amazing flexibility. |
|
| Finish |
| How did the stain or paint job look? |
| It is a beautiful work of art. |
|
| Action |
| How was the action out of the box? |
| This guitar has an incredibly easy action without fret buzz even when equipped with light gauge strings. |
