Gibson 1957 Les Paul Custom Electric Guitar with Case

Gibson 1957 Les Paul Custom Electric Guitar is another great reissue of a Historic Gibson Les Paul!
Made by a special division at Gibson, the '57 Les Paul is amazing, sparkling, clear, resonant and immediately recognizable. Constructed with a solid mahogany body, carved mahogany top & bound with alternating white-black binding on the top and bottom of the body, this Les Paul is a beauty to behold. Its mahogany neck, ebony fingerboard & deluxe pearl inlays only add to this marvelous vision of Gibson design.

Gibson loads the 1957 with two '57 classic PAF reissue pickups with gold plated polepieces, and double combination ABR-1 & Stopbar tailpiece...adjustable both horizontally and vertically. The 57's ebony lacquer finish provides a rich contrast with gold-plated hardware. Deluxe hardshell case included.

Gibson 1957 Le Paul Custom Features
  • 1-piece, solid mahogany backs
  • PAF humbuckers
  • Tortoise dot markers on the side of the neck
  • ABR-1 bridge and lightweight aluminum stopbar tailpiece
  • Holly headstock veneer
No matter where a Gibson Les Paul is seen...
Whether it's in the hands of a star performer, silhouetted in a guitar dealer's ad or cast in brass and incorporated into the architecture of a restaurant; Gibson's Les Paul is universally recognized as the symbol of rock and roll music.

Overall: Best guitar I have and I have over 30! Black finish scratches easy. Big fat neck with smooth action. 57 pickups bright in bridge mellow at neck and chimey in the middle. Heavy but it's a Paul

Overall: i played this gibson reissue for a while and it sucks, i know they wanted it to be exactly like it was in the old days with the pickup fuzz and that mumbo jumbo but your better off getting a regular les paul if you must buy a gibson. i say drop the gibson unless your getting a sg and get a PAUL REED SMITH, i have a prs and it is the best investment, best guitars out there buy prs

OVERALL:
I also own a Gibson Les Paul Standard, but this 57 Black Beauty is to die for. It just feels different to begin with. The pickups are awsome as well as the Ebony fretboard. I was a skeptic regarding the historics. Don't get me wrong, my Standard is awsome, I love it, but this R7 is in a league of it's own.
