What is your opinion of this product?
Well the set-up took me some time, as Gibson guitars are not something I work on often, but I love this guitar, and may get the SG of the same series!

    New Favorite Guitar
What is your opinion of this product?
I decided to order the 2014 LPJ because it is, amazingly, a USA-made Gibson for well under a thousand dollars, and with the goods to make it a real Les Paul--'61 Zebra humbuckers, the tune-o-matic bridge, mahogany body with maple cap. I own a 2002 Gibson Les Paul Standard as well, but frankly I like the tone of the LPJ better. Not only does it have a wider range of sounds, the tone is more articulate and a bit hotter, and the feel of the guitar (at least for me) is superior. My LPJ is in the cherry satin, which some people seem to hate, but I love; heck, I even like the 120th Anniversary fret marker. With a tube amp, I got classic rock sounds right out of the box, no pedals required. Also, the build quality is outstanding. The neck is smooth, the frets are well dressed, the action is perfect, the finish is first-rate. My only complaint is the gig bag, which has a bad habit of the zipper popping open, so I'm going to invest in a hard case. This guitar's worth it.

Not bad, not bad at all
What is your opinion of this product?
I've been playing over 20 years and this is not a bad guitar. The biggest issue I have is that there is a bit of fret overage and I wish it had a locking bridge/tail. Those are minor as I can fix those issues myself. The '61 Zebra pups sound great. The satin finish is nice and easy to keep clean (damp rag will do wonders). The tuners are not bad but I will upgrade them to a better gear ratio when they start to wear out. I like it so much that I'm going to get the SGJ next.

Not bad, but you can definitely do better for the money
What is your opinion of this product?
Not bad, but not great either. This will be just a temporary guitar. I bought planning to keep a long time, however, the quality issues has me already looking for a different guitar. I have always wanted a Gibson, but I am thinking that was a flaw in my thought process. I have owned 2 months and already am searching for a different guitar. I have owned several other American made guitars(fender heritage, G&L) and this one is at the bottom for quality.

    Very Impressed
What is your opinion of this product?
I've always wanted a Gibson. I started on an ESP and wanted a guitar with better tone and versatility. This LPJ did not disappoint. I play it almost everyday now. Of course I play recreationally and not professionally, but it's everything I wanted in a guitar at this point.

Sounds like a woman in the throws of pleasure!
What is your opinion of this product?
The sound is better then most guitars, even most Gibsons. The thin finish allows the warm tone of this guitar to outshine guitars costing three times as much.
