General
What is your overall opinion of this product?
I've always wanted a Gibson. I started on an ESP and wanted a guitar with better tone and versatility. This LPJ did not disappoint. I play it almost everyday now. Of course I play recreationally and not professionally, but it's everything I wanted in a guitar at this point.
Quality
What is your opinion of the quality of this product? How does it work for different genres of music?
The quality of the entire guitar is amazing. I like the natural rubbed wood finish on the LPJ I selected. Finely crafted and something beautiful to put on my wall next to my other guitars
Feel
Heavy, fast, chunky? How was the neck? Are the controls easy to get to while playing?
Feel was great. More compact than my other guitars. But playability on it is much better than I'm used To.
Tone
How is the tone? Bright and snappy? Dark and smooth? Were the pickups hot, mellow, thick or thin?
The tone is amazing. A chunky vintage tone from the Zebra Humbuckers sounds great.
Finish
How did the stain or paint job look?
Finish is awesome, a work of Art. I like the natural wood or stained wood guitars so this one exceeded my expectations
Value
Did you get what you were expecting for the price? How does it compare to similar products in the same price range?
I haven't really played any guitars regularly over this price range. However, I am extremely pleased with the LPJ for what I paid for it.
Playability
How was the action out of the box?
Plays awesome. The cleans have great tone and on the dirty side with some gain it sounds great.
