BurstBucker 1 and BurstBucker 2 pickups pump out PAF tonal goodness just like the vintage instruments.

    Min-ETune
Min-ETune is a small compact battery powered tuning system that is hardly visible from the front of the guitar and allows you to choose from 12 popular tunings or program 6 of your own! Perfect for home, studio and gigging - it even adjusts your guitar's tunings to match other instruments' with the reference tuning feature. All you have to do is PUSH the button, STRUM, get TUNED and ROCK out.

Digital tuners that emulate open tunings are available, but because the Min-ETune physically turns the tuners, the system is always natural. There is no delay, no dampening and no dead sound - just the natural vibration of guitar strings in total harmony with the amp producing ringing harmonics and powerful sustain. Go from a pop songs in E Standard, grunge song in Drop D, an alt metal song in D Standard, and a blues song in open G quickly and all with one guitar!

    Great guitar, poor tuning gimmick
    Product Rating
What is your opinion of this product?
The guitar is excellent. Nothing to complain about at all with the guitar itself. The Min E Tune, however, is a joke. You're supposed to strum the open strings and it tunes itself; sort of. Fact is, it gets confused a lot, and never gets it exactly right unless you pluck each string individually. But how is that any different than using a standard tuner? And once it "tunes" and shuts off, if you turn it back on and strum again, it detunes and starts over again. Changing strings was also a nightmare and took over 30 minutes, though that could be the learning curve. I've played with it for almost a week, and have found it takes 2-3 attempts before it gets all the strings in tune. It also seems to slip out of tune after only 5 minutes or so of playing. Bought a set of Grovers to replace this paper weight with. Robot tuners are neither a time saver or an innovation. It is a gimmick, nothing moreā€¦

Expected a little more, but it was $799
What is your opinion of this product?
First off It's not a Standard by any stretch of the imagination, but it's a third the cost. With that said, I love the finish and the vintage vibe. Not entirely crazy about the slim neck, but that's personal preference. It was set up well with low action and I love the satin neck finish. For the money I would rate it 5 stars if not for the terrible fret job. The fret edges really need work. You would think a USA made Gibson would have rolled out with a decent fret job. The stock strings are less than stellar also. After two days of stretching and playing it's out of tune after the first bend. Easy fix though. Aside from these issues, it's a quality guitar at a good price. $799 for the min etune model during Presidents Day sale. It's a good player and a genuine tone monster with the Burstbuckers! Definitely better than the newer Studios I've tried. All in all with a couple of issues corrected, it's a keeper for me.
