Holy, Hot Humbucker pickups, Batman!
Your general opinion of this product.
As an avid Fender enthusiast, I must admit to hot Humbucker pickup envy. Now, I am fulfilled. These pickups, are the icing on my new guitar cake.
Would you consider this product to be made well? How dependable?
It's a Gibson, made in the USA. I've only had it a couple of weeks, but so far, so very fine! This the first Gibson I've owned. It seems at least as good as any I've played
Bright and snappy? Dark and smooth? Were the pickups hot, mellow, thick, thin?
Mellow and richly dark, to HOT and snarly! Hey, It doesn't have that Fender twang, but I've got my Strat for for that.
How did the stain or paint job look?
Great! I bought this guitar "dented and scratched", but the only, slightest flaw I could find, was a on the back of the neck, very small, barely visible(only in the right light.) And knowing where it is, I can't feel it.
