| I ALWAYS THOUGHT THAT GRETSCH PICKUPS HAD THEIR OWN SOUND, SO I TRIED OUT THIS GUITAR AND WAS BLOWN AWAY BY THE FILTERTRON PUPS.
THERE'S NOT A SOUND YOU CAN'T REPRODUCE ON THIS GUITAR. I HAVE GIBSONS WITH P-90/S AND PAF PUPS BUT I CAN'T REPRODUCE AS MANY DIFFERENT SOUNDS THAN WITH THIS GRETSCH. LOOK, GO TRY ONE OUT AND YOU'LL AGREE AND THE $$$$ YOU SAVE COULD KEEP YOU IN STRINGS AND THINGS FOR YEARS....THIS GRETSCH CAN SNARL AND GET DIRTY OR CLEAN-UP
