The Remo Coated Powerstroke 3 features a thin underlay at the outer edge of the head to subtly dampen high frequency overtones. This creates a near-perfect balance of response and tone control that has quickly made Powerstroke 3 one of Remo’s most preferred drum heads.
The Remo Powerstroke X snare drum heads are constructed with a coated single-ply 14-mil polyester film with a 2-mil inlay ring for easy tunability and overtone control. Powerstroke X drum heads have great durability, attack, and volume for contemporary rock, funk and R&B applications. Tonally, the Powerstroke X snare heads are perfect medium between the Coated and the Emperor X.
