Subject:Decent Cables For The Price
Quality: I've never put too much stock into buying really expensive cables. While I don't buy the cheapest cables, I do buy cables that are priced reasonably because all cables eventually end up getting stepped on, tripped over, crushed by a rolling rack of gear, yanked out of jacks/ports, etc. These cables are average quality MIDI cables. They have good connectors and moldings which will last a lifetime if they're placed in your studio and are rarely moved around; however, if you're looking for a set of road worthy MIDI cables then you may want to look elsewhere.
Features: It's a MIDI cable and it works. It transmits MIDI data from one MIDI device to another. If that's a feature then it gets a 10/10 in my book.
Ease of Use: The cables were easy to use once I realized that they didn't plug into my 120 VAC household receptacles. I probably could have figured this out sooner had the cables come with a manual. Has anyone noticed that even the simplest of devices come with a manual? I bought a non-electronic wall mountable thermometer the other day and it came with a manual. Step 1...Look at thermometer. Step 2...Read temperature.
Value: For the price I suppose this was a good value. I purchased a couple of the ten foot cables.
