Best "Bang for the Buck" instrument
Quality
Would you consider this product to be made well? How dependable?
Especially at this price point.. this particular guitar is exceptionally well made with clean purfiling, bracing, very well done gloss finish on the body and vintage cream binding all around the body, fingerboard and headstock. Beautiful headstock rosewood overlay with excellent and tasteful abalone and pearl inlays. For a laminate Mahogany back and sides (which contribute less to the tone than the solid Engelmann top) and solid 3 piece mahogany neck this guitar is exceptionally well made. I think if one takes proper care of it like one should, it would last a lifetime.
Reliability
How has it stood up over time?
Haven't owned it long enough to make a reliable opinion on this but looking at it's quality build I would say it would last as long as the owner takes proper care of it.

Your general opinion of this product.
At this price point, I believe it would be very hard to find any guitar that can match the AC300NT for tone, build, finish, playability and quality tone woods. I have to admit it amazed me. I thought that any instrument in this price range would not be all that good. In this case, I was dead wrong. In fact this guitar has become the first one I reach for even over my Martin 000 and my Gibson L4. It's like that "favorite pair of jeans" you might have. You have better ones maybe but this one pair just seems to "fit" better than the rest. Same thing with this guitar.
Playability and Feel
How does it feel, Heavy, Fast, Chunky? How was the neck? Are the controls easy to get to while playing?
It is an extremely light in weight instrument with excellent balance, a very playable 24.9 scale lenght, very good fret work and a 12" radius that makes chording and note bending very easy.
Tone
Bright and snappy? Dark and smooth? Were the pickups hot, mellow, thick, thin?
As I said earlier, the tone is very well balanced, excellent note definition and a good balance of clear low end notes and sweet midrange and very good high end with no brittleness or harshness.
Finish
How did the stain or paint job look?
I grant you, it's not a custom shop nitro-lacquer finish but it is a nicely done poly finish, not to thick and evenly applied. The satin finish on the back of the neck adds to the speed of playing.
Action
How was the action out of the box?
this was the amazing thing for me. An instrument at this price never has an action as sweet as this. It measured out at 4/64ths at the low E string @ the 12th fret and 3/64ths at the high E string at the 12th fret. That's with the stock 12-54 guage strings on it. Having a true bone nut and saddle also add to the rich string vibration transfer. No adjustments were necessary at all.

Playability and Feel
How does it feel, Heavy, Fast, Chunky? How was the neck? Are the controls easy to get to while playing?
This guitar feels pretty light in the hands, and plays light. It makes a solid, healthy sound, just not as big as the average dreadnought, but carries very well.
Tone
Bright and snappy? Dark and smooth? Were the pickups hot, mellow, thick, thin?
Mellow and bright mainly, but there is a smoothness in the transitions from chord to chord.
Finish
How did the stain or paint job look?
Excellent and quite even. Elegant guitar with a abalone rosette
