Ibanez AEB5E Acoustic Electric Bass Guitar; Smooth bass tone you can take anywhere!
Adding the smoothness of an acoustic bass will fill any venue, drum circle or campground with the warm, low-end resonance that gives a jam session a more complete sound. They say that everybody plays guitar, so why not grab an Ibanez AEB5E acoustic electric bass and join in the jam wherever you go. People will love the sound of acoustic arrangements that sound more fleshed-out by adding a smooth low end. Fully compliment the acoustic jams whether you're plugged-in or not.

Quality
Would you consider this product to be made well? How dependable?
I have not played this much but acoustic instruments are more fragile by nature then their electric counterparts, so I keep it in it's hard shell case when I am not playing it. It seems well made, and I do guitar tech work for some local Vendors so I would Know.
Features
What do you consider to be the best features of this product? What features would you add to this product if you could?
It has the features common to most Acoustic/Electric instruments. The tuner seems to only work on mine when it's plugged in. It may just be a battery saving feature but it is annoying at times.
Overall
Your general opinion of this product.
I got this instrument because my brother wanted me to help him out as bassman in his country band. My electric bass collection was not fitting in on stage so I wanted to get an instrument to let me blend in. It works well for the job I have assigned for it.
Tone
Bright and snappy? Dark and smooth? Were the pickups hot, mellow, thick, thin?
Its tone is better plugged in then acoustic if I am honest.
Finish
How did the stain or paint job look?
The paint job is top notch work.

Don't buy this product!!!
Quality
Would you consider this product to be made well? How dependable?
Not dependable. After only 4 months I can no longer play it through my amp. It's just an acoustic guitar and the tuner does not work. The warranty is worthless as it cost almost as much to ship it to PA for repairs as the $200 it cost. No authorized repair in Ohio or Michigan. I am VERY unhappy with Ibanez!!!!
