The AEL10EBK features a mahogany neck, back, and sides, spruce top, rosewood fingerboard, and a black high gloss finish.

Able to turn up the volume without even plugging in, the AEL10EBK is a great choice for unamplified performance situations. But, when plugging in is necessary, a Fishman Sonicore pickup and Ibanez AEQ-SST Shape Shifter preamp with onboard tuner deliver a sweet cascade of acoustic tones and tuning ease.

The Ivorex II nuts are stronger and more durable than bone and even harder than the original Ivorex. Ivorex II allows brilliant highs and more pronounced lows with less mid-range which makes Ivorex II-fitted guitars perfect for amplification. Plus, 1/4 inch and XLR outputs make the AEL10EBK incredibly versatile.

Quality: Very well Made.
Sound: The tone is bright and beautiful. Wish it was a little louder unplugged but its fine.
Reliability: Only had it a few weeks but it appears to be well made
Overall: This is my first Acoustic Electric and after trying a few different ones, I chose the Ibanez AEL10 because of its playability, action and plugged in sound...not to mention my friend is Leon Everette a Nashville Star form the 1980's Leon told me about Ibanez and he loved my new guitar. Would recommend this guitar to anyone.
Playability and Feel: The guitar fits me very well. The weight is light and the neck is fast. The controls are easy to access.
Tone: Bright and Snappy
Finish: Looks good to me
Action: Great. I have diabetes and sore fingers form sticking myself daily...the action is low and comfortable for me.
Skill Level: Beginner
