Product Description

The Ibanez AFJ95 Artcore Hollowbody Electric Guitar features a Spruce top with Flamed Maple back and sides, as well as a handsome clean white binding on body, headstock, and fingerboard. Carefully crafted set-in neck construction ensures body liveliness. The Rosewood fretboard is contrasted by pearl block inlays. The AFJ95 Artcore’s 3-piece Maple/Mahogany neck has proven its reliability through the years on numerous Ibanez hollow bodies.

For a decade now, Ibanez has energized the hollow-body segment with a wide range of designs—with everything from rockin’ hybrids to traditional jazz-boxes. The Expressionist line begins yet another chapter in the Artcore story. Built with tone woods selected for their beauty as well as their musicality, the Expressionist line covers the wide range of styles for which Ibanez hollow and semi-hollow bodies are known.

Would you consider this product to be made well? How dependable?
Seems like a very well made guitar .The tuners work well and hold tune and all pots work well and seem solid.
Your general opinion of this product.
Great product especially at this price!
Bright and snappy? Dark and smooth? Were the pickups hot, mellow, thick, thin?
The tone is strong on the midrange side . When you turn the volume down a little you can really hear that woody ,warm jazz tone. The bridge pickups sound like a Gretsch to my ear but I use the neck pickup most of the time. When you blend both pickups it gives you a really nice smooth jazz type of sound.
How did the stain or paint job look?
nice paint job . I don't see any flaws or glue stains which i've seen in the past on expensive guitars.
