Unbelievable for the money!
Quality
Would you consider this product to be made well? How dependable?
Yes, considering the price and the fact that it is made in China. Really surprised me.
Reliability
How has it stood up over time?
I have had Ibanez guitars for 30 years, they hold up well.
Overall
Your general opinion of this product.
I bought this guitar as I wanted EMG pup's, a Les Paul style body and a thinner neck carve. I bought this as a "lets try it" type of thing. I kept it and have been playing it non-stop.
Playability and Feel
How does it feel, Heavy, Fast, Chunky? How was the neck? Are the controls easy to get to while playing?
A guitar is like a woman, you have to find one that fits you. This guitar fits me. The neck is thin but not overly. It has a nice slim taper rounded neck which works for me. I would never buy a guitar that did'nt play great. This plays great.
Tone
Bright and snappy? Dark and smooth? Were the pickups hot, mellow, thick, thin?
EMG's are heavy but its a thinner guitar so it bites and cuts thru. Again, if its a classic rock tone to metal this things got it.
Finish
How did the stain or paint job look?
Again, for $600 it is awesome. I got the black and I love it.
Action
How was the action out of the box?
Great, a little high for me so I lowered it a bit. But pretty good out of the box.
