Stunning!
Reliability
How has it stood up over time?
Just got it so we'll find out, but this is my new baby so I doubt ill be banging it off stuff in the near future.
Overall
Your general opinion of this product.
I got the purple finish and I can't believe how beautiful it looks. Its a little brighter in the pics but all I can say is wow!
Playability and Feel
How does it feel, Heavy, Fast, Chunky? How was the neck? Are the controls easy to get to while playing?
Its so much lighter and comfortable than any les paul or esp that I've tried. And the set neck is like icing on the cake.
Tone
Bright and snappy? Dark and smooth? Were the pickups hot, mellow, thick, thin?
The emg 81/60 combo gives you the best of both worlds... dark and melodic as well as bright and crisp.
Finish
How did the stain or paint job look?
I can't say enough about the paint job. The purple is stunning. I tried out the red one at a local shop and it was equally beautiful. There's a very small blemish on the neck but I kind of like it as you can't see it but you can feel it... since there's no markers on the fretboard I kind of use that to tell where im at so it worked out to my benefit.
Action
How was the action out of the box?
The low E buzzed a little out of the box... easy fix though.
