Quality
Would you consider this product to be made well? How dependable?
Made in Indonesia. Quality looks pretty good so far. Time will tell if the solid top will begin to separate and split and/or if parts wear down easily. However, looking at it, it looks durable enough for different gigs.
Reliability
How has it stood up over time?
I just purchased this guitar so time will tell. As with any solid top acoustic, the sound should sweeten with age.
Overall
Your general opinion of this product.
The look and sound of a more expensive guitar but easy on the wallet.
Playability and Feel
How does it feel, Heavy, Fast, Chunky? How was the neck? Are the controls easy to get to while playing?
It's very playable. The neck is average but nice and fast if going up the neck. The onboard controls are were easy to get to and read, for me. Good balance in weight distribution from the headstock down to the body.
Tone
Bright and snappy? Dark and smooth? Were the pickups hot, mellow, thick, thin?
Finish
How did the stain or paint job look?
This is what sold me on this guitar. The color is actually darker than what you see. In lower lighting it would be mistaken for black. I love the organic look of this guitar!
Action
How was the action out of the box?
Action was perfect for me. It is nice and low but not so much that there was any fret buzz - and I went up and down the neck at each fret with each string.
