Ibanez GRG170DX Electric GuitarThe Ibanez GRG170DX is the first guitar issued in Ibanez’ GRG series.
This sharp looking new guitar features a 24 fret maple neck with the Ibanez sharktooth inlays, a basswood body, chrome die-cast tuners, a chrome FAT 10 bridge, and a meaty Powersound humbucker/single-coil/humbucker pickup configuration. The fast neck, comfortable RG style body and great sound (not to mention great price!) will make this guitar a favorite of guitarists of all levels.
Ibanez GRG170DX Features
Basswood Body:
Basswood is a comparatively lightweight wood, which makes it very comfortable for extended playing. With a good balance of highs and lows, basswood is right in between alder and mahogany in sound character.
Rosewood Fingerboard:
Rosewood offers a strong, bright sound and an attractive appearance with a long grain.
Ibanez GRX Series Guitars

| I have played this guitar for several months and I think it is an amazing guitar. It is perfect for the style of music that I play which is metal/hardcore...like As I Lay Dying or Killswitch Engage. This guitar is, in my opinion, the perfect weight and has amazing playability through the neck; its like my fingers just glide across the neck with perfection. GREAT GUITAR and I recommend it to anyobody, beginner or expert. |

| The tone was a perfect mix of everything: Bright, clean highs with amazing sustain. Amazing bottom end that had great clarity and a very well mixed mid tone that came through the signal like Heaven in my ears. |
