The Ibanez GRGA42QA Electric Guitar offers RGA styling and playability in a more affordable package. These archtop-body are preferred by metal players and include fast maple necks and EMG ceramic humbucking pickups that pump out huge tones for rhythm and lead work. The fixed bridge provides maximum string resonation for loads of sustain.

This Guitar was amazing right out of the box. The Emg H4 pickups give you the sound of a set of EMG 81's withought having to worry about changing a battery. You simply WILL NOT find another guitar with this kind of bang for the buck. Hands down the best guitar in its price range. Truly Amazing.

How does it feel, Heavy, Fast, Chunky? How was the neck? Are the controls easy to get to while playing?
Not to heavy. Very fast neck. Controls are just as easy to get to as a standard strat style guitar.
Tone
Bright and snappy? Dark and smooth? Were the pickups hot, mellow, thick, thin?
It was the perfect blend of all the tones i could ever want or need!!!!
Finish
How did the stain or paint job look?
I have the black transparent. Very attractive.

How was the action out of the box?
Wonderful action out of the box, it wasn't too high and wasn't so low the stings fret out. Just right!

I've only had it for a month now but so far very dependable. Stays in tune very well.

Beautiful finish, amazing tone. I had to set it up the way I like it and now it is one of the fastest necks I've ever had.

It feels fast. The neck is very fast. The controls are in excellent positions.

I play hard rock/ metal and the tone I get is deep, thick, and a screaming high end.

This guitar has a beautiful finish. Everyone that has seen me play out with it say sweet guitar.

The action out of the box was a little high, I play in C tuning so I had to adjust the neck and lower the action.
