Tone:
Subject:Piece of Junk
Quality: Poor construction of the neck/truss rod
Features: Simple to use
Sound: Great, but after setting the neck, the pick-up was really loud. Tried to lower it, but it only would go so far. Low strings distorted my amp.
Playability and Feel: Light weight
Tone: Snappy.
Finish: Nice finish
Action: SUCKS! I had to adjust the truss rod, but the first few frets bowed, no matter what I did. I had to file the frets. The nut was cut too low on the G string. Finally got it right action wise, proceeded to adjust the pick-up.....Would only screw in so far. It was too close to the E string, making for an overdiven sound. I'll just put it in a stand next to my other basses as a collectable, but a failure. Dig deeper, buy a better model! Or a Fender.

Subject:Great, Solid Bass!
Quality: You wouldn't know this was a $170 bass. The bridge is beefy, tuners are solid, all the hardware is secure.
Features: Simplicity.
Sound: The sound from this thing is pretty mean. Great for more aggressive styles but totally usable in any situation. Great balance of bottom end and clarity. Not a "boomy" bass.
Playability and Feel: Played and felt great out of the box; didn't require a set-up. I really enjoyed the feel of the neck. Overall very solid and balanced.
Tone: That's one mean humbucker.
Finish: I had the matte mahogany finish, and it's really very nice. Darker than it looks in the pictures. It's stained, not painted so it will be very durable.
Action: Action was about as good as it could be. Played great, smooth.
