The Ibanez Joe Satriani JS1000 guitar is has a multi-radius Prestige neck that is an exact digital rendering of the neck on Joe's favorite axe.
Its lightweight aerofoil shaped basswood body provides comfort, upper-fret access and expressive singing tones. A unique high-pass filter on the volume pots maintains highs at low volumes. The combination of a 25.5-inch neck scale and DiMarzio (PAF Pro and Fred) pickups provides wide dynamic range and versatility. Also, prepare to be amazed with the pickups on this guitar: the tone pot has a push/pull feature that splits the humbuckers, offering up 3-humbucker and 3 single-coil sounds.

| Let's hope it's more dependable then the only other ibanez I've ever had , the one the Floyd rose pulled right out of the body of the guitar , but this ones seems to be top shelve quality So I gotta say if it holds up I'm back to being a ibanez man |

| So far it's been great a absolute pleasure to play the actions a little high from the factory considering that it's supposed to be a super fast neck, and that it is after you lower the action then bam a super sweet guitar One of the better purchases I've made in the 20 + years of playing |

| The controls are very nice love the split coils and the pick ups, very light guitar and the body very thin but don't think that's takes away from the tone cause it doesn't in the least bit |
