The Ibanez M510E mandolin is an acoustic-electric instrument with a single coil magnetic pickup with Volume & Tone controls, a spruce top, a mahogany body and chrome tuners. The mahogany body provides rich warm lows and sweet sustain. It was great to hear that after a nearly twenty year hiatus, Ibanez mandolins have returned to the line-up. These are affordable instruments that are very comfortable and easy to play.

Perfect out of the box, very easy to fit to Your taste.

FEATURES:
One could wish for better strings from factory. And a case of some kind...

EASE OF USE:
No manual, but these days--- who needs one? Still I think a breaf intro to the mando world would be fine, with some coomon chords and so on...

VALUE:
Top of the line considering the prizetag. I+ve played many of I`s competitors and thay all fall behind.

SOUND:
Of course You´ll get what You pay for. Moderate sustain and quite OK tune after 8th fret, but hey, You´r up and giggin right out of the box!!

QUALITY:
Except for the tuners, this instrument is great. Tuners are of low quality and they do not work perfectly. However, once the system is in tune, it keeps its condition.

FEATURES:
It is an electro acoustic mandolin for about $180. I think it is an excellent choice.

EASE OF USE:
Relative: If you know how to play mandolin, then it is easy.

VALUE:
I do not think there is something better in this price range.

SOUND:
This instrument sounds amazing. With or without being connected, the sound is perfect.

It's beautiful. The only real problem I had was that the tunning keys were loose. After I tightened them, it was fine.

FEATURES:
It sounds great plugged in.

EASE OF USE:
There was no manual with the mandolin, so it was hard for a first-timer like myself to figure out how to string it and so on.

VALUE:
For the price it's great

SOUND:
It sounds pretty good. I don't know much about mandolins but the Ibanez guitar I have is great, so i kind of judged by that.
