| Still in the first year of use and after over a hungred shows and constant load in's and out's..No perceivable wear marks yet.. | | Overall:
| When I first saw this, all I was thinking was, What will be easy to carry and yet do the job.. There have been some comments about them falling over, but that has yet to happen to me..if you are using strap locks and most of us do these days, it might get a little wobly with a strap attached.. I tour with nine Les-Pauls and two Tele's and two Strats, and no one has hit one yet..all it takes is a little care to make sure they are set up correctly.. Until this little gem, I was using Ultimate axel B's, but that company chose not to continue with that stand, so we had to go elsewhere.. | | Playability and Feel:

| | | Subject: | Best stand around-depending, and not for all guitars | | Quality:
| This stand, as it appears in the picture, is made from metal and plastic. Both are rigid enough to hold your guitar upright, but the stand is not for all guitars, and is not necessarily perfect for all occasions. The best thing however, is the rubber will never dry or crack like the "A-frame, rubber-tubing" guitar stands, so if properly taken care-of, it will last forever. | | Reliability:
| I purchased mine around 6 years ago for maybe $12. I take it everywhere I go and it's as good as the day I first got it--thought I admit, it still seems cheap-looking to this day. Guess what? | | Overall:
| I think it's the best stand in the world for symmetrical, solid-body guitars like mine, a Telecaster, and for my desire for a small, light, portable guitar stand: It's absolutely NOT obnoxious-looking--like "hey, look at my guitar stand." The foot print is extremely small--probably the smallest--with the distance between the arms only about 7", the stand 10" tall. Because of this small size, the back-stop rests against the plastic cover on the back-side of guitars with tremolos (Stratocasters, etc.)
--a great way to break that cheap trem cover. OR, for all the Stevie Ray's out there without trem covers, who wants a guitar stand that rests on your guitar springs? And, again, anyone with a guitar that has an asymmetical body (Jazzmaster, Jaguar, Talman, etc.) might want to avoid this stand. Also, because of the footprint, your guitar can get knocked over--defeating the purpose for some, but most of us are not going on tour, just playing in the bedroom or jamming with friends. | | Playability and Feel:

| Perfect. Rubber won't crack or peel, and it won't rub-off on your guitar. It's better than the surgical tubing-like, rubber tubing that WILL dry out and crack and be a general annoyance. | | Action:
