Ibanez RG3550MZ Prestige Electric Guitar with Case

The Ibanez RG3550MZ Prestige Electric Guitar features the powerful combination of a 5 piece maple/walnut Super Wizard Prestige neck with a bound maple fretboard and dot inlays, Edge Zero tremolo bridge with ZPS3 spring system and 3 pickups. Case is included.

Edge-Zero Tremolo
The Edge-Zero, Ibanez's latest generation of knife edge tremolos, deploys all of the unique features of the ZR trem and allows for the most radical of trem effects with flawless tuning accuracy. Just unscrew the built-in intonation adjustment tool from the base of the tremolo and screw it into the bottom of each saddle for quick adjustments. The locking bolt is offset from the center of the saddle, which allows easy access to the bolt without loosening the strings.

Pickups
The RG3550MZ features a DiMarzio Air Norton in the neck position, DiMarzio True Velvet in the middle and DiMarzio Tone Zone in the bridge.

DiMarzio Air Norton Neck Pickup
The tone is deep and warm, but not muddy. It's hot, but not distorted. It's even got cool harmonics, which are really unusual for a neck humbucker.

DiMarzio True Velvet Middle Pickup
A vintage-style single-coil pickup that's clean and bright, but designed to still sound sweet when picking above the 12th fret. Coil is tuned to a frequency range that’s bright but not thin.

DiMarzio Tone Zone Bridge Pickup
Hot enough to qualify as a high-output pickup, but has a wider dynamic range--hard picking will produce a lot of power, and softer picking will be much cleaner and quieter.

Miyagi quality. Fine craftsmanship, built rock solid. Everything you expect from a Prestige - I doubt this guitar will ever let you down.
Reliability

Had mine for 1yr and no issues at all - I think it's getting better!

Absolutely Brilliant! Masterfully crafted, infinitely playable and sounds amazing
Playability and Feel
How does it feel, Heavy, Fast, Chunky? How was the neck? Are the controls easy to get to while playing?
For it's sleek style it still feels solid with a little bit of heft. Super Wizard neck w/ maple fretboard truly is magic - smooth, slick, extremely thin and built for speed. Slightly larger width feels amazingly comfortable in my larger hands. My only real criticism of an otherwise wonderful instrument: volume knob is poorly placed - a little too close to the edge of my hand but does make for easy access while playing. Controls and switch feel a little stiff but actually help avoid accidental setting changes.
Tone
Bright and snappy? Dark and smooth? Were the pickups hot, mellow, thick, thin?
Thick and crunchy but surprisingly warm and rounded as well - wide dynamic range. Tone Zone in the bridge is just hot enough for me but real high output fans might not be sastified. Air Norton in the neck position is deep and warm. The True Velvet in the middle adds brightness but is fairly quiet and creates a noticeable change in output volume when switching out of the bridge position.
Finish
How did the stain or paint job look?
Striking look and finish. Mine is Galaxy White with subtle gold flecks. Basswood, so be careful regarding "dings" - mine's 1 yr old and still looks like new
Action
How was the action out of the box?
Great setup. Action is designed for speed. Mine could even be lowered but I like it right where it is. Trem system (edge-zero with ZPS3)takes a beating and never goes out of tune.
